Chocolates in (and around) Boston

Hey All,

Marissa here from Yes to Dessert. Today, I am sharing some of my favorite places to get chocolates in and around Boston. I love chocolate. And, I’m so glad to share some of these places with you.

Chocolate Therapy

Chocolate Therapy is a black-owned, woman-owned confectionary shop in Framingham, MA. You make pick out your own chocolates to make a box. I really liked, the chocolates came with a card with the different flavors so you can remember which options you picked.

Läderach

Läderach is a Swiss chocolate shop, I discovered in the Prudential Center. I like stopping in for the samples of the bark. Two of my favorites are the raspberry and hazelnut chocolate. It is also a great place for picking up gifts, haven’t had any complaint from those I’ve gifted bars to.

L.A. Burdick

On those cool New England days, I look forward to stopping by this shop for hot chocolate. My favorite is the white hot chocolate. The also have a variety of baked good (including cake).

La Parlott

During a family visit to Boston, I was showing them around the Boston Public Market when we stumpled upon the chocolatier stand that is La Parlott. There were so many truffles to choose from, I opted for cookies and cream (one of my all time favorite flavors) and crème brûlée.

Bon Bon Bon

I’m always excited to check out the latest shops in the rotation at the the Seaport’s Current. Bon Bon Bon was the cutest shop. But it wasn’t just visually appealing. These Bon Bon’s were super fresh and had bold layers of flavor in every bite. I also enjoyed the time the team took to explain all the different options.

There you have it, some of my favorite spots to pick up chocolates in Boston and in the surrounding areas. In addition to the stand alone shops I had to include some honorable mentions of some of my favorite brands you can get at your local super markets and pharmacies. These include Ferrer Rocher, Lidnt (brick and mortar store in Boston), and Godiva.

Let me know if you have any additional suggestions I should check out. I’d love to hear from you and as always, be sweet.
